Each year the Jacksonville PTO organizes one large fundraiser each fall, the Jog-A-Thon. The funds raised through this one event, as well as money raised through direct donation and retail rewards provide PTO the funds necessary to support academic programs, classroom teachers, community events and so much more throughout the year. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic and the economic repercussions that many families are experiencing PTO has made a decision to forgo any fundraising event during the 2020/2021 school year. Our annual budget was approved in light of this decision and funding to various programs has been adjusted in order to continue to operate within our current finances and retain enough funds to begin the 2021/2022 school year.
